SMALL JACKETS – Just Like This! (2021)

After some years on hold, classic rockers SMALL JACKETS are back with a new album titled “Just Like This!“. Wait… this is an Italian band? Really? Oh yeah, but SMALL JACKETS sounds like and English or American band from the classic era of hard rock / arena rock.
Grab some early Aerosmith circa 1975, a bit of Bad Company, some Mountain edge, and a dash of current mofos Rival Sons or The Darkness, and we are pretty close to SMALL JACKETS’ new album. Indeed, “Just Like This!”.
Small Jackets are first class musicians. Over a thunderous rhythm section, courtesy of drummer Danny Savanas and singer/bass player Mark Oak, the guitars fly on wings of fire; Eddy Current and Matt West are different but complementary axe players, and the variety of their techniques and the dynamic interplay are reminiscent of the great tandems from the genre.
