EPIC – Starlight (2022)

In our opinion there’s only one thing wrong with Canadian female fronted rockers EPIC – their band name. Perhaps for being too much similar to Epica, or seeing the cover art and title of their second album ‘Starlight‘ makes you think about modern sympho metal.
Instead, what you get here is 10 tracks of awesome ’80s inspired Melodic Hard Rock…
Fans of HEART, SARAYA or DANTE FOX definitely will cry tears of joy when listening to amazing songs like “Can’t Get Over You“, “Crazy“ or “My Way Or The Highway“. Singer Tanya Rizkali offers that emotional and powerful voice which will give you goosebumps all over, and the band features here new bass player Chris Childs (THUNDER, TYKETTO).

After years of international experience, songwriting, touring and sharing the stage with some of the biggest acts, the band pour their passion for music into “Starlight”. EPIC is a labor of love by the band’s three core members Tanya Rizkala /vocals/, Mario Agostine /guitars/, and Souheil “Sous” Moukaddem /drums/, that have come together for over a decade of Rock’ n Roll.
The band is known for their contemporary Melodic Hard Rock style, their lead singer’s powerhouse vocals, their blazing edgy guitar riffs and their hard-hitting drum grooves which define their sound.
