Alongside the unreleased material Australian / UK based songwriter, vocalist & guitarist PAUL HEEREN finally released and we featured here at 0dayrox in exclusive, the musician also put out for the first time the album he recorded with the late Eighties project HEEREN / STEVENS, fully remastered.
HEEREN / STEVENS consisted of Paul on lead vocals, guitar, keys, etc, and powerhouse female vocalist Jan Parker Stevens. The duo aimed for commercial, mainstream AOR, radio-friendly rock&pop / melodic rock with that pristine production sound from the era.

Recorded 1989-1990 the album never was released but not for lacking quality: some tracks were produced by Adrian Lee (Mike + The Mechanics) who also play keyboards, and list reputed British musicians like Gary Wallis (Pink Floyd) on drums, and Nigel Ross-Scott (Re-flex) on bass.
However, HEEREN / STEVENS managed to secure one of the main theme (end credits) songs for the movie ‘Highlander II’ from 1991. The song was officially released plus +2 on mini-CD, a rare piece we added here as 0dayrox extra.

“Heeren / Stevens” has been silently released with no promotion of any kind, but 0dayrox team is always there to dig deep and bring to you this kind of buried gems.
Female fronted AOR from the late ’80s / early ’90s fand & collectors rejoice… this is pure gold.
