SILVER HORSES – Electric Omega (2024) *HQ*
A few months ago we featured the remastered reissue of hard rockers SILVER HORSES self-titled debut. Now the band is releasing their new album entitled “Electric Omega” via Bad Reputation Records, whom not only is avery good reissue company but also home for current bands.
Silver Horses recorded their debut album in 2012, a celebrated, very ’70s oriented hard rock platter with Led Zeppelin and Whitesnake influences but with a contemporary touch and of course Tony Martin’s unique voice.
For “Electric Omega” SILVER HORSES’ leader, Italian guitarist Gianluca Galli, enlisted as lead singer reputed Jacopo Meille, since about two decades frontman of the legendary British band Tygers Of Pan Tang. Jacopo is not really a new face to the band, since he started playing with Gianluca back in 1989 in the band Mad Mice, and later Mantra.
This current SILVER HORSES line up combines years of different experiences but a common view and love for classic rock music. The new album “Electric Omega” is a sum of new songs and remakes of a few Mantra titles (early ’90s written hard rock tunes), re-arranged with with a contemporary twist.
