TREAT – Muscle In Motion [Unreleased ’92-’93] *HQ*

Swedes TREAT are without a doubt one of the greatest melodic hard rock bands in the history of the genre. Their ’80s albums defined the sound from Scandinavia with equal doses of AOR into the their music. We featured all these treasurable LP’s on this website, however not their 90’s work, very good music as well.
Alongside 1992’s self-titled album ‘Treat’ (the band’s last official studio album until 2010), it was requested as well “Muscle In Motion“, including the 1992-1993 TREAT recordings of songs intended for their next album.. that never was.
While all are pre-production demos, the sound quality is very good, and most important – the songs are pretty awesome, even better than the previous album.

Still with Mats Levèn as lead vocalist, this set of songs still retain the hard rock edge however with a definitely melodic hard feeling spiced with AOR. In fact, some of these tunes were written by the band in the late ’80s, circa their impressive LP ‘Organized Crime’.
While “Muscle In Motion” wasn’t an authorized CD, over the years the band sanctioned the release as ‘official’, a collection of fantastic songs that deserved to be heard by the fans.
