RISING STEEL – Fight Them All (2020)
Released by Frontiers Music, “Fight Them All” is the debut album from up-and-coming classic metal band RISING STEEL, from Grenoble, France. The quintet delivers a “not so” classical metal sound with their influences coming mainly from the 80s NWOBHM and hard rock scenes.
Solid and powerful metal music, the band is inspired by the legacies of legends like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and is recommended for fans with diverse metal palates who like bands ranging from early Metallica, Accept, Saxon, and beyond.
Frontiers Music have been expanding their musical roster in recent time. Another proof is the signing of RISING STEEL and this debut album.
“Fight Them All” is heavy metal. It’s pure heavy metal with a 1985 US feel and style all over, of course with an updated production and modern mix. But the genre is the aforementioned.
Lots of riffs, groove, pounding drums, and that kind of vocalist from the era. And I need to mention much of melody too.
I used to listen to this type of metal very often in my teens. And I like the way RISING STEEL compose the songs, the arrangements, the playing. These guys are good at it.
Nowadays, I need to be in the mood to listen albums like “Fight Them All”. But when that ‘mood’ arrive I’m sure I will listen to this CD again.
So if you’re a metalhead, you’ll love this. Then, if you are occasional listener of this genre, you’ll enjoy “Fight Them All”. A Lot.
