GREAT WHITE – Live at the Ritz (1988) [Promo only CD, not for sale] *0dayrox Exclusive*
As requested, here’s the rare, promo only CD of GREAT WHITE awesome live performance at the Ritz in NYC on February 2, 1988: “Live at the Ritz“. The show, in fact, was arranged by Capitol Records to be captured on video and aired on MTV to promote the band.
The broadcast was a success, then Capitol ordered a limited promo CD pressing for radio stations. Oddly, “Live at the Ritz” never was officially released on CD, LP or cassette.
And it’s a shame, as not only the production & mastering of this CD is first rate, but the band sounds fabulous.
This is the classic GREAT WHITE line up at their prime, and the versions of ‘Rock Me’, ‘Gonna Getcha’, Led Zeppelin’s ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You’, ‘All Over Now’ or ‘Face The Day’ (one of the best Great White cover songs if you ask me) are all served with passion and emotion.
A collector’s item.

Thanks for posting. This is the only official GW live performance I don’t own on CD. I sure wish MTV would officially release the full 9 songs on CD and DVD. There are bootlegs on the Internet, and some are decent, but we need a clean master of the original. And other MTV concerts including complete GW and Queensryche unplugged.
