After decades shelved the RON BOLTON BAND finally rise like a phoenix from the ashes of the high quality Melodic Rock obscurities thanks to this Avenue Of Allies Music first official reissue / remaster of their sole 1983 self-titled album ”Ron Bolton Band”.
Hailing from Encinitas, California, USA, the RBB formed in 1978 under the name Ron Bolton Group. Later the band changed its name to Ron Bolton Band. Their sound is deeply rooted in the AOR of the early Eighties, extremely melodic, enriched by a touch of Pomp Rock and Westcoast and Power Pop.
This official CD release of the ultra rare vinyl private pressing will cast a spell over fans of Toto, Dakota, Preview, Keane, 707, B.E. Taylor Group, as well as over friends of Franke & The Knockouts, Le Roux, Automatix, Balance, and the Michael Stanley Band.
