BULLET TRAIN BLAST has become one of the most promising new Hard Rock bands from Denmark with their second album (presented here on the blog) receiving enthusiastic reviews / critical acclaim and also a very interesting public approval in Europe, especially Scandinavia.
Now with CD number three “Shake Rattle Racing“, Bullet Train Blast go for the throat of the whole world Rock fans.
Bullet Train Blast recently has recruited reinforcements in the new members, guitarist Henrik “Heinz” Jacobsen (ex Hatesphere) and Jakob Ellerup on bass, and under the guidance of legendary studio magician Danish producer Tue Madsen, the focus on “Shake Rattle Racing” is deliver tight, punchy hard rockers with a modern sound.
Song such as ”Game Over”, ”The Fighter”, the title track, “Broken” or ”Oh Desire” are short, rugged hard rockers ready for the arenas, straight to the point through Gibson Les Paul guitar riffs and Marshall amps cranked to 10.
“Shake Rattle Racing” is a fun, entertaining record by Bullet Train Blast, a band with a typical Scandinavian sound but with an eye put in America. This release is a promise for everyone that there is a non-MTV like face to Hard Rock. Even with a modern sound, it’s easy to see how the ’80s influence is impregnated in the band’s overall output.
Effective and fun, “Shake Rattle Racing” delivers an enjoyable balance between old-school hard rockin’ energy and modern sounding riff-pumped rock ‘n roll. The album is already available via Mighty Music in Denmark, and in the rest of the world by July 3rd 2015.
