AIRBOURNE – Back In The Game (The Un-Limited Release) [Cobra Kai soundtrack] (2021)

The first two seasons of Cobra Kai not only follows the events of The Karate Kid movies, but keeps with their spirit musically – the soundtrack is full of ’80s jams. It’s hard to think of music from The Karate Kid without thinking of the classic theme song from the original, “You’re The Best” by Joe Esposito.
But, damn it, Cobra Kai is here, and through two seasons has managed to have a badass soundtrack full of ’80s bangers, and somehow hasn’t played that old theme song even once.
The series features ’80s classic from Journey, Queen, Foreigner, Poison, etc, but also contemporary bands like AIRBOURNE, which play, of course, ’80s-inspired hard rock.
Several AIRBOURNE songs are featured into the Cobra Kai episodes, trailers, promotion, etc, so the band and their American management put out this some kind of a soundtrack titled ”Back In The Game”, funnily sub-titled ‘The Un-Limited Release
