MARTIN SWEET (Crashdïet) – Digesting Decades (2021)

Crashdïet guitar player for almost two decades now, MARTIN SWEET is releasing his first solo album “Digesting Decades“, where he indeed pay tribute to his favorite songs / bands from the last 50 years.
SWEET sings very well and perform all instruments (except drums) on varied classic tunes from ‘The Look’ (Roxette cover), Ask the Lonely (Journey) or Black Forever (WASP cover) to Another Day in Paradise (Phil Collins) and ‘Wouldn’t You Like to Know Me’ (Paul Stanley).
It’s a really fun project which started as some standalone singles during the pandemic and ended being a full length LP released today.
Really, really cool.

This is one of Crashdiet most complete albums to date, and if you don’t like ‘sleaze’ you better don’t miss this CD because of that; “Rust” is much, much more than sleaze: there’s hard rock groove, melodic rock, and even some AOR on this record.
