V.A. – 0dayrox Advanced Releases Sept-October 2019 – Vol.4
We expect a very interesting batch of new releases for this 2019 Summer / Fall, so let’s go with our classic 0dayrox Advanced Releases singles.
Reactivated legendary American hard rock band ANGEL including original members guitarist Punky Meadows and vocalist Frank DiMino have made the new track ‘Under The Gun’ available, the first cut from their seventh full-length studio album ‘Risen’ available on October 4th, 2019 through Cleopatra Records. LOVE it.
But that ANGEL feature doesn’t end there, we have in exclusive the Meadows / Dimino and Felix Robinson (ex Angel) new version of ‘Lost And Lonely’. This is not the last Punky Meadows solo album version, this was recorded with Dimino at the mic and Felix Robinson on bass to commemorates the 2018 ANGEL Reunion Tour.
Swedish sleaze rockers CRASHDIET have released a new song “In The Maze” from their upcoming new studio album Rust, which will be released next September. This will be the first Crashdïet album with Gabriel Keyes handling the lead vocals, and I like what I hear, much more melodic than before.
Every a couple of months or so Swedes CRUZH have been releasing new singles, acoustic versions of their electrified songs. Now it’s time for ‘Aim for the Head (Acoustic)’, one of the first songs they wrote as unit years ago. It’s a great version, and you can hear these later super-produced songs in fact born with an acoustic guitar at hand.
New York 80s glam rockers WILDSTREET consisting of band founder / frontman Eric Jayk, guitarist Jimmie Marlowe, bassist Jonny D, lead guitarist Dom and drummer Lock have released the single “Tennessee Cocaine” which will presumably be on their upcoming new studio album Wildstreet III. Rocks with swagger.
Finnish hard rockers BLOCK BUSTER have released the new song “Out In The City” from their upcoming debut full-length album ‘Losing Gravity’, which will be released via Frontiers Music next September. These guys rock hard mixing Scandi & American sounds.
Eighties melodic hard rockers HURRICANE have returned with new front man Chad Cancino and a cover of Queen / David Bowie’s song “Under Pressure”, produced by Robert Sarzo. We have here in exclusive (still not for sale) this curious choice for a cover, made by the band with a more edgy approach.
Progressive super group FLYING COLORS – Mike Portnoy, Steve Morse, Neal Morse, Dave LaRue and Casey McPherson – will release their third studio album ‘Third Degree’ this year – and reveal new single titled “More”. It’s one of the most hard rocking songs in the band’s history, in a song format and quite commercial.

We’ve gotten the chance to listen to SHARK ISLAND‘s two more tracks from their upcoming album “Bloodline”. Titled ‘Fire In The House’ and ‘Crazy Eights’, these are really strong rockers with a lively feel.
In April 2018, British Kris Barras became the new front-man and guitarist for USA band, Supersonic Blues Machine. But he’s still fronting the KRIS BARRAS BAND, and the have a new album out soon. The two first singles ‘What You Get’ and ‘Ignite (Light It Up)’ both rock with melody and a lovely bluesy touch.
Australian hard rockers AIRBOURNE will release their fifth studio album, “Boneshaker”, on October 25 via Spinefarm Records. Today they have unveiled the title track, a bone-crusher indeed.
After their enjoyable debut album, Stockholm, Sweden-based melodic / commercial power metal band METALITE are back with a new long player, ‘Biomechanicals’ on October 25th, 2019. ‘Far from the Sanctuary’ is the first single, catchy stuff.
Great Danish guitarist & producer SOREN ANDERSEN (Mike Tramp, Glenn Hughes) has premiered his new single, “Bird Feeder”, featuring no other than Chad Smith (Chickenfoot, Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums and legend GLENN HUGHES on bass. It’s an instrumental, but a superb slice of classic rock jammin’ delivering one of the best Hughes performances in years. You actually can hear ‘the bass’ up in the mix!
