Your soundtrack for this weekend!
Classic AOR band TOUCH lead by talented Mark Mangold will release a new album entitled ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’. After years of fans wait, finally this great band is back with a new LP which promises to be one of the highlights of the year. The advanced title track is terrific.
The forthcoming new solo album by ROBIN McAULEY, ‘Standing On The Edge’, sees the respected Irish rock singer make a strong musical statement during a period that has been more creative than ever for him. Following his re-emergence on the recordings side of the music industry with guest spots on Michael Schenker Fest albums and fronting the hard rock supergroup Black Swan, McAuley is feeling invigorated and creative, while also demonstrating that his voice is as powerful as ever listening the album’s title track. Love this tune.
THE END MACHINE are back with their sophomore album, “Phase2,” which follows on the heels of their well-received and successful self-titled debut album released in 2018. The End Machine features former classic lineup Dokken members George Lynch and Jeff Pilson with the awesome singer Robert Mason (Warrant, Lynch Mob) on lead vocals. Classic Dokken drummer Mick Brown handled drums on the first album, but is now retired, so in his place behind the drum kit is none other than his brother Steve Brown. “Say What You Need to Say” is the first single.
Early 90s AOR heroes VALENTINE led by one of the most loved voices in music, courtesy of Hugo Valenti, have released “Sandy,” the first single from their upcoming collection ”Demos from the Attic”. And we have two more unreleased songs from the album in exclusive.
The ‘Demos from the Attic’ collection comes two decades after the quartet’s much loved debut surfaced on Giant / Reprise Records in 1990.
These songs were recorded 1991, and while the sound quality isn’t the best, it’s enough to enjoy these classic melodies in the same vein of the self-titled 1990 album.
