German based COLORS OF NOISE is a young, female fronted outfit in love with ’80s lite progressive melodic rock, something clear listening to their debut album “Fragments”.
There’s only 4 compositions on the record however packing almost other 4 into each. This makes the experience even more captivating as you discover the ability of the band to morph the melodies flawlessly.
With stupendous musicianship and a style recalling ’80s RUSH, ARC ANGEL, WORLD TRADE, 90125-era YES, the first MARILLION and more, “Fragments” is a delicious album from beginning to end.
