EDGE B.S. – Heaven Still Knows [remastered 2021]
Sweden, Karlskoga Melodic Rock / AOR act EDGE released a very nice album back in 2012/13 titled ‘Heaven Knows’. Now with the band re-branded EDGE B.S., they are reissuing the album fully remastered, re-titled “Heaven Still Knows“, featuring new artwork, and a previously unreleased track.
Put together by vocalist / guitarist Jonas Forss and keyboardist/guitarist Tobias Andersson, two good friends who’ve been playing on and off in bands together since the mid 1990s, EDGE B.S. music exude class songwriting, strong hook skills and multi part, engaging vocal harmonies that are expected to be near the top of this genre..
Jonas’ vocal delivery will not be mistaken for Steve Perry or Jimi Jamison, but it’s a comfortable sound with a warm mid-range that brings home memorable tracks like “How Long” and the FM-like “Through That Door”.
Oh, I almost forgot to say that Tommy Denander plays the solo on “How Long”, and as always he provides an ‘extra touch’…
