MARK STEIN is best known as the founder, lead vocalist, keyboardist and songwriter of Vanilla Fudge, but also collaborated with all, from Tommy Bolin Band and Alice Cooper to Deep Purple and the Steve Miller Band, just to name a few.
It was time for Mark to release his first ever solo album ‘There’s A Light’, a collection of songs filled with his trademark vocals, piano and Hammond B3 riffs, delivering strong social content and convicting performances, from “We Are One” and “Racism” to his classic takes on “Ball of Confusion” and “People Got To Be Free”.
This is pure Classic Rock with a pulsating punch which resumes the last fifty years in Rock, at places in similar Cream and Vanilla Fudge vibe, others Benny Mardones / Eddie Money, even some early Journey / Kansas on songs like “Lyin”…
