MORITZ, one of the finest UK AOR bands, returned a couple of years ago with the solid CD ‘Undivided’. Now they have ready a brand new album to be released in the Spring 2013 entitled SOS.

With the five original members, vocalist Pete Scallan, guitarists Greg Hart & Mike Nolan, Bassist Ian Edwards & keyboardist Andy Stewart, they are now augmented by new drummer John Tonks (Thunder, The Union), the new album looks sure to follow on from the critically acclaimed ‘Undivided’ in great fashion.

According to Moritz, on the new recording, aside from their signature AOR sound the band have opened the door to their classic rock influences.

The just presented first single “Gonna Lose Her” shows some of this new approach particularly in the guitar sound, more clean and bouncy rhythmically.

But the infectious choruses and swirling keyboards are still there defining the typical Moritz UK AOR style.
