“Losing Gravity” is the new album from BLOCK BUSTER, the straightforward, high energy hard rock band, formed by the brothers Aarni & Jaakko Metsäpelto in Kuopio, Finland. There’s something unique in the feel and the energy that Block Buster cranks out.

The formula itself is simple: hard hitting four-on-the-floor groove, ear-splitting guitars and glass-gargling vocals with catchy choruses. All these elements combined will make you want to chug down all the beer, raise your fist in the air and call your boss you ain’t coming to work tomorrow because you’re about to get drunk while rocking out tonight.

Opener “Out In The City” does not waste any time pumping you up for some no bullshit, A-grade rocking. Some tight riffs blended with hard rockin’ groove, spiced up with Aarni‘s strong vocals pretty much sums up the band’s signature sound.
“Gone By The Morning” and “Flammable” have you singing along to the catchy choruses, and – believe me – this is not the last time.
The high energy never falters, even in slightly slower songs like “Back From The Shadows”, where the guys add more melody for a midpaced rocker.

This 4-piece from Finland never disappoints: straight to the bones, simple yet effective hard rock, groovy, with solid songwriting and a bright production to rock your socks off.
