HERE

Vancouver, Canada based band BRASS CAMEL is releasing their new album today, titled “Camel“. After first listen we only could say: wow! these guys are unique.
Channeling a signature blend of classic rock, ’70s prog, funk, a pinch of metal, and more, Brass Camel’s grasp of rhythmic texture and song composition create a daring synthesis of musical energy that turns genre conventions on their head. A dash of Queen & Styx, a sprinkle of Funkadelic, a splash of Rush, some Faith No More craziness, and more are infused to create an infectious cocktail of unforgettable sound encapsulating Brass Camel’s vision for “Camel”.
Brass Camel, a self-proclaimed ‘unorthodox’ rock group, have crafted an album that will without failure stand the test of time, and you’d regret it if you didn’t grant it a thorough listening. We show “Camel” to a friend and he said: ”This band sounds like funky Rush! Crazy good!”
The album offers a wide variety of instrumental experiments and an astounding degree of musical talent, coming in full circle with passionate singing and overwhelming instrumental intensity to produce something absolutely electrifying.

In an age when music has become maddeningly predictable, you just gotta sit up and take notice when a band like Brass Camel comes along. “Camel” ties in beautifully with so many classic bands and songs that you already enjoy but it’s a totally fresh and thrilling adventure at the same time.
