PRETTY BOY FLOYD – Public Enemies [Japan Edition] (2017)
One of the legend from the Sunset Strip golden era, PRETTY BOY FLOYD, are back with a new album titled “Public Enemies” to be released by Frontiers Music next December. This Japanese Edition features the exclusive bonus track ‘Look But Don’t Touch’.
PRETTY BOY FLOYD’s new album “Public Enemies” could’ve been released in 1990 as a direct follow up to the legendary ‘Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz’ and it wouldn’t have missed a beat.
It’s everything fans of love about the band, big choruses injected with glam filled Rock ‘n Roll and a nasty attitude.
These are songs of pure ’80s rocking bliss, all short and instantly catchy around the 3 and a half minutes.
The band give a few tips of the hat to the debut album with the intro “S.A.T.A’ and the anthemic ‘Shock the World’ with a fist-pumping chorus that pulls you in and has you instantly singing along.
One rocker after another like ‘High School Queen’, ‘Girls All Over the World’, ‘American Dream’ and the they just keep coming. Party stuff with a glammy hair metal feel.
If you need more metallic stuff ‘Feel The Heat’ o ‘Do Ya Wanna Rock’ blasts with heavy riffs, on the other hand is you miss stadium power ballads then ‘We Can’t Bring Back Yesterday’ with its instrumentation (and lyrics) will take you back to an ’80s LA lights-in-the-air show.
“Public Enemies” sees PRETTY BOY FLOYD back in business in top form. In fact, I doubt the band ever sounded this good before. They don’t care about trends, they are back to what they do best; rock you in an ’80s fashion.
For those who don’t like the sleazy sound too much, you better check this PBF 2017 as they have added a strong hard rock groove to their music as well, according to times.
If you’re looking to relive the glory days of the genre, then hop on the PRETTY BOY FLOYD train…… it’s rolling down the tracks giving the middle finger to the mainstream!
