ROBERT PLANT & ALISON KRAUSS – Raise The Roof (Deluxe Edition) (2021)

Tomorrow Nov. 19 ROBERT PLANT & ALISON KRAUSS celebrate the historic release of “Raise The Roof“, their first new album together in more than 14 years. The record was produced by T-Bone Burnett, who also worked with Plant and Krauss on their successful first album together ‘Raising Sand’.
The two singers were joined in the studio by drummer Jay Bellerose, guitarists Marc Ribot, David Hidalgo, Bill Frisell, and Buddy Miller, bassists Dennis Crouch and Viktor Krauss, and pedal steel guitarist Russ Pahl.
Building on the Grammy-sweeping, millions-selling success of 2007’s ‘Raising Sand’, “‘Raise The Roof’ almost magically reclaims the spectral tone of ‘Raising Sand’, then finds ways to expand on it, delving further into both quiet subtleties and wailing intensity…

ROBERT PLANT – Digging Deep ; Subterranea (2020)

To be released tomorrow in a deluxe 2xCD pack, ”Digging Deep: Subterranea” will bring together 30 tracks from ROBERT PLANT’s solo career – including three previously unreleased songs.
The two-disc collection will bring together 30 remastered tracks from the former Led Zeppelin frontman’s solo career, and will include the new tune ‘Nothing Takes The Place Of You’, ‘Charlie Patton Highway (Turn It Up – Part 1)’ and ‘Too Much Alike’, which features Patty Griffin as guest.
The collection span tracks from all 11 of Plant’s solo albums and include songs he recorded with Jimmy Page, Buddy Miller, Phil Collins, Nigel Kennedy, Richard Thompson and Strange Sensation/The Sensational Space Shifters.
