WHITE HEAT – Runnin’ For Life [digitally remastered] (2021)

Some weeks ago we featured here the remastered reissue of cult ’80s act WHITE HEAT self-titled album from 1982. Now its time for the band’s third LP, ”Runnin’ For Life” originally released in 1985. WHITE HEAT origins were based traditional ’80s Hard Rock with a sharp NWoBHM edge and influences by the likes of KROKUS, AC/DC, early VAN HALEN, etc.
As happened with most bands of this ilk / era, WHITE HEAT slightly morphed into a more commercial, accesible sound circa the mid-’80s. ”Runnin’ For Life” musical orientation is quite more melodic than before, compared to 1984’s WHITESNAKE, APRIL WINE, TYGERS OF PANG TANG, et all.
Indeed, there’s a bluesy melodic hard rock feeling all over these songs, including occasional keyboards to enrich the sound…

WHITE HEAT – White Heat +4 [Digitally Remastered] (2021) HQ

As requested, here’s the remastered reissue of WHITE HEAT‘s self-titled album from 1982 including 4 bonus tracks recorded by the band’s comeback, new 2021 line up.
The 5-piece combo White Heat was formed in 1980 and released three albums before disbanding in 1986. The legend, cult status of WHITE HEAT is mainly based on the debut, recorded by singer Tigo Fawzi, guitarists Dirk Cleyburgh and Robby Walter, bassist Stan Verfaillie and drummer Frank Pauwels, which lead the band tour all over central Europe.
This is classic, traditional ’80s Hard Rock with a sharp NWoBHM edge and influences by the likes of KROKUS, AC/DC, early VAN HALEN and a bluesy side ala WHITESNAKE circa 1980…

WHITE HEAT – Krakatoa (Remastered From Original Tapes)

As requested, here’s the remastered reissue of WHITE HEAT‘s second album, 1983’s ”Krakatoaremastered from the original tapes. This 5-piece was formed in 1980 and released three albums before disbanding in 1986.
Still retaining the same line-up of singer Tigo Fawzi, guitarists Dirk Cleyburgh and Robby Walter, bassist Stan Verfaillie and drummer Frank Pauwels, WHITE HEAT entered into the studio to record ”Krakatoa’ and the results were as powerful as the Krakatoa volcano eruption located between the islands of Sumatra and Java.
Like its predecessor, the songs on the album are a mixture of AC/DC, KROKUS and VAN HALEN with the addition of some special ingredients … Have a listen to “Going down”.
It’s nearly 40 years since the original release of “Krakatoa” and it still sounds fresh today, even more with this clean remaster…
