HANOI ROCKS – Rebels On The Run [remastered rarities] (2017)

Finnish label Ainoa Productions has jut released on CD & LP “Rebels On The Run“, a compilation HANOI ROCKS album of special interest for collectors. The release include rare B-sides and EP only tracks recorded by the legendary band fronted by Michael Monroe between 1980-1984, all freshly remastered by the most renowned sound engineer in Finland; Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Reckless Love) at Finnvox Studios, Helsinki.

Hanoi Rocks recorded during the period 1980-1984 five studio albums and one live, spawning several singles and some EP’s.
The new compilation album “Rebels On The Run” is compiled from these rare singles B-side, hard to find songs, none of them included into Hanoi Rock’s official studio albums.

While some of these tracks appeared on some Hanoi Rocks album reissues as bonus tracks – such as ‘Oil And Gasoline’ and ‘Shakes’ included into Rock Candy Records bonus disc from Two Steps From The Move reissue – most of them never were put on digital format before. And above all, never with this sound quality.
Only released in Scandinavia, “Rebels On The Run” is a must have for collectors.
