RABBITT (Trevor Rabin) - Boys Will Be Boys! [Air Mail Archive Japan miniLP digitally remastered] full
HERE

Alongside TREVOR RABIN solo albums, there were requested here as well his previous recordings with South African band RABBITT. These rare Japanese releases in a mini-LP replica – done by Air Mail Archive Records – are the only remastered reissues of RABBITT’s two, different albums.
The first is the fun Boys Will Be Boys!.

Trevor Rabin formed Rabbitt in the Seventies, and their debut LP “Boys Will Be Boys!” resulted a huge success locally, becoming gold certificated faster than any other South African record. Rabbitt won a Sarie award, the South African equivalent of a Grammy, for Best Contemporary Pop Music.
And indeed “Boys Will Be Boys!” delivers catchy rock&pop tunes such as ‘Something’s Going Wrong With My Baby’
‘Savage’, ‘Hard Ride’ and radio-hit ‘Charlie’.

However, “Boys Will Be Boys” rocks. It is not raw rock, but rather has the polished production I associate with British acts from the era. It has creative songs and wonderful musicianship.
‘Looking For The Man’ is one of my favorites, and the band does as well a fine cover version of Jethro Tull’s classic ‘Locomotive Breath’.

RABBITT (Trevor Rabin) - Boys Will Be Boys! [Air Mail Archive Japan miniLP digitally remastered] - back

Due its local success, “Boys Will Be Boys” was released in Europe and America, with a slightly different artwork. This Japanese remastered reissue features the original front / back covers, replicating the 12” vinyl LP.
A fun record showcasing Trevor’s origins and talent for tasteful melodies.
A rare, collectible CD.
