GARY MOORE - Live At The Marquee [Japan SHM-CD remastered] *EXCLUSIVE* full
HERE

Some days ago we featured here in exclusive the quite unknown GARY MOORE short-lived band G-Force album remastered and pressed on SHM-CD. Now we have a show recorded during the tour presenting the album, “Live At The Marquee“, captured at the legendary Marquee Club in London on November 5th & 6th, 1980.
For the shows Moore enlisted former LONE STAR frontman Kenny Driscoll to provide lead vocals (Driscoll’s replacement in Lone Star, John Sloman, would later perform with Moore), Andy Pyle of THE KINKS to play bass, former Black Oak Arkansas and PAT TRAVERS drummer Tommy Aldridge, and Moore’s former COLOSSEUM II bandmate, keyboardist Don Airey, who would go on to contribute to many of Moore’s later solo works.
The performance mainly showcases material from Moore’s 1979 Back On The Streets and the G-Force albums, with two songs being from Dirty Fingers, and the remaining track, “Dallas Warhead” being an original composition, which incorporates a killer, awesome drum solo from Aldridge.

“Live At The Marquee” was first released only in Japan in 1983 when Moore started to become popular (along with the ‘Dirty Fingers’ album) by Sony Records Japan who bought the copyright from Jet Records.

All over the ’80s “Live At The Marquee” was a much sought after import, quite hard to find outside Japan.
I still got the cassette tape a-friend-of-a-friend recorded for me from the Japanese LP. I played “Live At The Marquee” home-made tape to death.
It simply rocks your socks off, Moore is on fire here and so the incredible back-up band. Tommy Aldridge’s drum work is to die for.

Fantastic live album ! my favourite from Gary Moore!
I Just wanted to say that for the 5th track, before “parisienne walkways”, there’s the amazing instrumental “Sunset” dedicated to Randy Rhoads…
    Thanks a lot !
