HIGHWAY QUEEN – Bitter Soul (2022)

HIGHWAY QUEEN is a new melodic hard rock band from Finland who has been presenting some singles since past year which led to be signed by Rockshots Records for the upcoming release of full-length debut studio album ”Bitter Soul” on December 16th, 2022.
This female-fronted outfit is comprised by experienced musicians from the Scandinavian scene, and their aim is to capture the organic rock sound of yesteryear. Band name makes you think of glammy hard rock, but HIGHWAY QUEEN is pure classic hard (melodic) rock with an ’80s imprint all over, groovy songs with a bluesy basement.
And despite the ‘dark’, horror-type  cover art the album is plenty of classy riffs and melodies.
