LOU GRAMM – The Full RKO Studios Show 1987 [0dayrox Exclusive]
There has been many bootlegs put on sale of LOU GRAMM‘s show at RKO Studios show performed in 1987, but none sounds like this one – an unreleased version / no cuts taken from our collection.
While still fronting Foreigner, Gramm released his first solo album ‘Ready Or Not’ in January 1987 to critical acclaim. The single ‘Midnight Blue’ reached the top five. To promote the album, Lou performed this show at RKO Studios for radio broadcast.
With his stupendous band including terrific guitarist Bobby Messano and Bruce Turgon on bass & harmony vocals, Gramm was on fire that night proving why he was ready for a solo career.
The show includes songs from ‘Ready Or Not’ but also the heme from The Lost Boys Movie which Gramm contributed, a cover of The Beatles, and an unreleased song only found here.

Thanks for this great Lou Grammy show. I think that he would have stayed with Foreigner if he was not having vocal issues after recovering from brain surgery. I saw that Deer Creek Foreigner show with him after the surgery and it was horrible.
