KISS – No More Tomorrow [The Ritz NY 1988 WNEW FM Broadcast] (2024) *HQ*

This is a really interesting release appeared a few months ago: ”No More Tomorrow”, a KISS live recording from 1988. Captured at The Ritz, NYC, during the Crazy Nights Tour this is interesting because they play a lot of their ’80s songs.
Sure, the timeless hits are here – Deuce, Love Gun, Rock And Roll All Nite, Detroit Rock City – but all over the set list we can hear 8 songs from the 80s-era.
It’s a pleasure to hear Eric Carr lead vocals on ‘Black Diamond’, and his noticeable backing on others such as ‘Fits Like a Glove’. Notably, ‘Shout it Out Loud’ was performed at The Ritz, making it a rare ’80s appearance of that song.

On the previous Animalize tour the band wasn’t in their finest moment, but here, in this 1987-1988 world tour they were a blast, with Bruce Kulick and Carr fully contributing to the KISS live sound. Kulick has a lot of room for his impressive guitar licks, while Paul & Gene are in great shape.
There were some previous bootleg releases of this show, but we think the sound quality on ”No More Tomorrow” is better, very good quality similar to KISS’ recent ‘From The Sound Desk’ official releases.
