Canadian glammy hard rockers BARELY LEGAL‘s lone album ”Dirtier Than You”, which was first released in 1994 – only 500 CD pressed, for years impossible to find (used copies over $500) – just has been remastered / reissued by Demon Doll Records, and presented in exclusive here at 0dayrox.
These guys were like a mix of SKID ROW, BRIGHTON ROCK and SAINTS & SINNERS, with excellent songwriting / musicianship and first class production.
There’s a perfect singer for this genre in Lou Greenberg, remarkable guitars hooks & arrangements, and multi-layered harmonies / gang choruses performed by all members. This baby rocks hard with a clean yet powerful punch.

The boys deliver some seriously catchy tunes full of energy and these guys can flat out play. And the best part of it is ”Dirtier Than You” sounds like major label release.
The title track kick your ass and not far behind are killer songs like “Love And Desire”, “Should’ve Known Better” and “Low Down Dirty Lies”. They also deliver a great power ballad in “Tears In The Rain”, still retaining the ‘ballsy’ approach.

It might only be 6 tracks but it’s definitely worth the price of admission as there is not a weak song on the record. Despite being released 1994, this is pure 1987-1989 hard rock with melody, quality stuff all over.
