LIZZY BORDEN – Deal with the Devil [vinyl LP remastered reissue] (2021) HQ *0dayrox Exclusive*

LIZZY BORDEN are releasing vinyl re-issues of classic albums ‘Master of Disguise’ (1989) and ‘Deal with the Devil’ (2000) via Metal Blade Records. This is a limited edition available in different vinyl colors and featuring the latest remasters.
Deal with the Devil” is Lizzy Borden’s fifth studio album, their first album after 11 years and return to form for the band. While the cover artwork by comic book artist Todd McFarlane is cool, I think it doesn’t represents the music inside. Some may think of extreme metal – wrong – this hot hard rocking / classic US metal the band was famous for in the ’80s.
Musically, on ”Deal with the Devil” Lizzy Borden reminds me of Helix, songs with biting guitars – former guitarist David Michael Phillips (also ex-King Kobra) appears as guest – and big vocals.
This “Deal with the Devil [vinyl LP remastered reissue]” is a really welcomed release as the album never sounded better. The original CD release suffered from the 2000’s ‘loudness wars‘ style, with a saturated output level.
This vinyl press delivers a warm, balanced sound where you can appreciate all instruments clearly. This is our own, 0dayrox rip from the brand new, previously un-played LP.

LIZZY BORDEN – Master Of Disguise [2 x vinyl LP remastered reissue] (2021) HQ *0dayrox Exclusive*

LIZZY BORDEN are releasing vinyl re-issues of classic albums ‘Master of Disguise’ (1989) and ‘Deal with the Devil’ (2000) via Metal Blade Records. This is a limited edition available in different vinyl colors and featuring the latest remasters. ‘Master Of Disguise‘ has been printed into 2 LP’s to assure more room for the tracks and better vinyl sound quality, due to the album’s length (57 minutes). Additionally, it was used the original cover artwork.
“Master Of Disguise” is Lizzy Borden’s most elaborated record, a conceptual, ‘mature’ piece of work but with all that ‘1989’ polish and bright sound production. Lizzy Borden would try something different this time, something more ambitious, but at the same time, it’s the most accessible, catchy rocking album of their career.
This is still a record I return to very often, and as fan I needed this pristine double LP pressing. This is 0dayrox own clean rip from the brand new, previously un-played LP’s.

LIZZY BORDEN – Best Of Lizzy Borden [Victor Japan Co. remastered reissue] *EXCLUSIVE*

With the new LIZZY BORDEN ‘Best Of Vol.2’, it’s proper time to feature the very first “Best Of Lizzy Borden” greatest hits. First appeared in 1994 and including a selection of the band’s ’80s material, this reissue done years later by Victor Japan Company is the one to get.
While isn’t specified, it seems this version has been remastered – a ’90s type of remaster, you know, not saturated – and on the OBI it says ‘Digital Remix’. Looks confusing, the songs are the originals (not remixed) but for sure sonically ‘reinforced’.
A terrific collection plenty of killer rockers, and the best version available (yet out of print).
