SUNDELL BROTHERS – Archive (2021) *only at 0dayrox*

For several years Swedish vocalist PETER SUNDELL has been working with his brother / multi instrumentalist Christian on many projects. While working in the next C.O.P album – which still is in progress to be released early 2023 – the bros written & recorded songs that does not fit the ‘C.O.P sound’, and decided to release some of them under the title “Archive” with the SUNDELL BROTHERS banner.
Musically these songs in fact doesn’t fit C.O.P’s rocking style, but for sure the bros works with Grand Illusion: this is melodic rock with AOR / pop rock sound. One of the tracks was sent to the Swedish song contest 2021 (not chosen).
“Archive” deliver quality material with that unmistakable Scandi sound, let’s hope SUNDELL BROTHERS release more own material in the future.

PETER SUNDELL – Now [Japan Edition +1] HQ

Excellent Swedish vocalist PETER SUNDELL has graced a number of highly revered albums over the years. His work in the ’80s with Promotion, then AOR geniuses Grand Illusion, Decoy and C.O.P. has made AOR fans all over the world drewl, in awe over his high pitched and powerful voice.
In between the studio and performing gigs SUNDELL recorded several songs for a solo album titled “Now”, intended to be released in Japan only (appeared at the end of 2018) but in early 2019 he released by himself in Scandinavia a 500 piece limited edition.
“Now” sees Peter Sundell paying tribute to some classic tunes from the likes of SURVIVOR, AIRPLAY, L.A. COWBOYS, HUGHES & THRALL, BILLY JOEL, ASIA, KANSAS, THE TUBES, TREVOR RABIN and DAVID ROBERTS. This Japanese Edition includes a bonus track, a great cover of a VANDENBERG song.
Treated with the typically GRAND ILLUSION / C.O.P. touch by his long time fellow Ola Af Trampe and his brother Christian on drums, this is by no means your ordinary cover album: “Now” has some really magic AOR moments…
