CHAMPLIN, WILLIAMS, FRIESTEDT: CWF – Aria (2015)

Toto singer Joseph Williams teams up with former Chicago singer Bill Champlin and Swedish guitarist/producer Peter Friestedt for a new remarkable AOR release following the success with the ‘Live In Concert’ (featured on the blog) CD / DVD appeared some time ago. To be released next October 23 through AOR Heaven Records, the album is entitled “CWF” ; CHAMPLIN, WILLIAMS FRIESTEDT.

Few years ago, Champlin / Willams / Friestedt played a sold out Scandinavian tour focused on Bill & Joseph’s songs from their solo careers and Peter’s two ‘L.A. Project’ albums. All was recorded and released as ‘Live In Concert’.
But there was such great chemistry that the trio decided to write new songs a record a studio album, the soon to be released “CWF”.
There’s many shining star musicians involved, as Steve Porcaro providing keyboards on the first advanced single from the album; the delicious “Aria”.
