I was about to purchase the first DANGER DANGER album freshly remastered by Rock Candy Records UK, when I noticed Sony Music Japan not only just released it one month ago, but also the second album from the band, this awesome “Screw It!” complete with bonus tracks and manufactured with the sonically impressive Blu-Spec CD2 system.

For their second album “Screw It!”, Danger Danger basically took every element from the debut and turned it up a notch. The melodies are catchier, the production is shinier and Ted Poley’s vocals are cleaner.

The AOR melodies from the debut are replaced with another instantly lovable factor: HOOKS.
With a definite ‘what the Heck’ attitude, “Screw It!” rocks from start to finish, there’s not a single weak song on this album.
“Monkey Business”, “Don’t Blame It On Love”, “Everybody Wants Some” are just few examples of first class Melodic Hard Rock made in USA.
This CD is up there with gems for the genre like Hardline’s Double Eclipse, Warrant’s Cherry Pie, Damn Yankees, etc.

Simply put, and as with the first Danger Danger album, your Melodic Hard Rock collection is not complete without “Screw It!”.
Either the Blu-Spec CD2 (made with the same Blu-Ray technique) or the SHM-CD made by the Japanese are superior than anything existing in the market. The sound is incredible. I may have listened Danger Danger’s albums more than 500 times since came out, and on this pristine remaster now I heard more sweet harmonics, more bass presence, defined cymbals, etc.
Do yourself a favor, and buy this “Screw It! Japan remaster Blu-Spec CD2”. Additionally you have 2 bonus tracks taken from the hard to find EP ‘Down And Dirty Live!’
