STAGES (feat. Tommy Denander) – Stages (2022)
STAGES is a new melodic rock / AOR project started by Australian keyboardist Ray Martens, an experienced musician ex member of hard rockers Mr. Scary, Shock Therapy, Dragonsclaw and more. What started as some of his songs to be recorded by himself, ended into an international project.
Soon renowned Swedes Tommy Denander (all guitars) and Lars Säfsund (Lionville, Work Of Art) joined, then bass player sensation Charles Berthoud from UK, vocalist Andreas Kapatais from Greece… STAGES is a world wide talent project now.
While there’s plans for a full album, Stages are presenting the “Stages EP” produced by melodic rock expert Thomas “Plec” Johansson, consisting a 5 wonderfully melodious songs inspired by the timeless ’80s sounds of the genre. Check the video clip below…

You forgot Grounded which is track 4 which was released first then the other songs were released on the 22/02/2022 . First letter of each song makes up STAGES . CD has 6 songs on it & a couple of other artists ! thanks for the write up keeping it melodic Ray 🙂
“Grounded” is a CD (not released yet) only track. This is the Feb. digital release with 5 tracks.
