Tana’ ulen is a practice of forest conservation by the Dayak Kenyah Indigenous peoples who live in the upper reaches of some of the major rivers in the interior of Borneo, along the border between Sarawak (Malaysia) and Kalimantan (Indonesia). It is a model of effective and locally rooted conservation.
Well, since 2021, TANA ULEN is as well a melodic hard rock band from Sweden which is releasing their self-titled debut album with a sound inspired in the Eighties / Nineties.
Produced by highly demanded Pontus Norgren (ex Jeff Scott Soto, The Poodles, Talisman) and featuring legendary Thomas Vikström (Talk of the Town) on all backing / harmony vocals, these guys have delivered a top notch product
