TOTO singer Joseph Williams teams up again with former Chicago singer Bill Champlin and Swedish guitarist/producer Peter Friestedt for another CWF record, “Carrie“, a new collection of AOR songs featuring as guests Jason Scheff (ex- Chicago), Lars Säfsund (Work Of Art), who’s who drummer John Jr Robinson, Randy Goodrum (TOTO, Chicago), and Tamara Champlin.
An exceptional line-up for a wonderful fresh slice of old-school AOR both in songwriting and production sound. Title track “Carrie” features the great reunion of classic Chicago frontmen Jason Scheff & Bill Champlin – this uplifting pop gem also features stellar guitarwork by Friestedt and was co-written by Grammy award winning songwriter Randy Goodrum.
“Fly Way Now” penned by the Champlin’s & Friestedt with it’s haunting verses and catchy chorus, and the beautiful Joseph Williams written ballad “The Last Unbroken Heart” are great editions to the CWF catalog.
