UFO – Hollywood ’76 [CleoRecs official release remastered] (2023)

British hard rock legends UFO in partnership with CleoRecs is releasing officially for the first time, ”Hollywood ’76”, captured when they ‘invaded’ L.A. back in the Seventies. Drawing primarily from the band’s monumental ‘Force It’ album, the set for the show features “Shoot Shoot,” “Rock Botom” and “Let It Roll” as well as other UFO classics like “Doctor Doctor” and lots more.
Recorded Live at The Starwood in Hollywood, May 3rd of 1976, the performance has circulated for years as bootleg among fans but here is officially released on CD with a remastering treatment. The sound quality is fine considering the era.
UFO sounds tight as band that night, but of special interest is Michael Schenker’s craziness with extended guitar solos and a wild attitude.
