Cambridge, UK, rockers THE TREATMENT are ready to released their highly anticipated sixth studio album, ”Wake Up The Neighbourhood”, a fresh collection of songs offering a tantalizing glimpse into the electrifying energy and unapologetic rock ‘n roll spirit that defines the band.
With influences ranging from the timeless melodies of Def Leppard to the raw energy of AC/DC and Thin Lizzy (second tracks is titled ‘Back To The 1970s’, go figure), ”Wake Up The Neighbourhood” is an effective exercise of classic rock revivalism done with authenticity. From blistering hard rock anthems to soul-stirring ballads, the album offers a diverse range of twist that will captivate audiences worldwide.

A crunching power drenched guitar assault pours from the intro of opener Let’s Wake Up This Town, as Tom Rampton’s phenomenal vocals kick in the door and let this monster loose. The rhythm section is front and centre as a thumping snare drum beat lets the bass kicks drive this roaring opener down the road as a full on bass wraps itself around this colossal beast as the band pick up where they left off and really give us a solid gritty foot stomping track that is letting these boys break new ground with this fantastic track that lets the shredding guitar licks do their thing and let this beast loose as we feel the energy, swagger and attitude bring us together with these boys.

Back To The 1970’s – A deep full on bass kick lets this rocker track come to life as Tom lets his gravelly vocals bring this track to us as we get a meaty bass kick that really gives this track depth. The bass is dropping sweet meaty funk grooves around this fist pumping monster as the boys just deliver a real 70s / 80s feeling rock n roll track that is just oozing class.
A dark brooding bassline comes through on When Thunder & Lightening Strikes and wraps itself around the solid guitar licks that are coming for us with a real vengeful groove that is just incredible. The twin guitar assault works really well as the whole unit builds and builds. The tempo changes pace a little and we get a shuddering punch from the rhythm section that really gives this track meaty hooks with a rocking beat that is just incredible.

A shredding guitar riff wanders freely through This Fire Still Burns as roaring vocals kick in and let this fist pumping rock n roller break free. A sizzling beast of a track, a sweet clean guitar solo ripples through the mid section as these boys offload with a slick clean shred.
Man On The Highwire delivers a more sleazy feel with a killer groove that lets this fantastic slab deliver a track that just gets better with every note that comes our way. The band have brought us a delicious dark melodic beast that needs to be heard.

I Can’t wait No Longer is a rocking ballad style piece that allows Tom to bring his rasping vocals to the party, Fire Me Up is a punchy in your face rocker, while the pumping Free Yourself hits us from all sides with its funking bassline and slick guitar shredding licks.
Then I’ve Got My Mind Made Up is different – a sleazy blues style guitar lick erupts from the off as this foot stomping ending track just punches us straight in the face as we feel the depth come at us.

We are just in awe of this record as it is a real step up for THE TREATMENT in depth, attitude, and brings something else to the table as the boys just let themselves be themselves as this dark, rasping beast leaves it’s mark upon us as it kicks in the doors, tells us what is what, and leaves us lying motionless on the floor.
