AC/DC – Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap [Australian vinyl Albert Productions label 1976] HQ *Exclusive*
As requested by many, here’s a vinyl-rip of AC/DC third album 1976 LP “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap“, in its original Australian pressing.
The international release was mostly re-mixed, songs shortened, and the track listing is different, also the cover artwork. Many fans largely prefer this original 1976 Australian version in its original mix, raw, in your face. Released via Albert Productions records, the vinyl has blue center labels and a kangaroo logo on it.
This album shows an upgrade in both AC/CD tightness – this was their first album in its entirety to be recorded with the classic early line up – and production. Includes some of AC/DC most famous songs like the title track “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” and “Ride On” (the former and “Ain’t No Fun Waiting Round to Be a Millionaire” where shortened for the international release).
These original vinyl LP pressings sound terrific indeed. This is taken from the 1981 Aussie vinyl reissue, sonically the same as the 1976 original. There’s a really nice channel separation. Yeah, this is AC/DC at its primal. This is true rock n’ roll folks.
