THE WORRAL BROTHERS PROJECT – S/T [Cassette only, Canada] (1990) RARE

Alongside the WORRAL album reissued / remastered by YesterRock featured at 0dayrox, here’s a rarity from the band. Canadian brothers Steve & Rick Worrall got their album recorded in Memphis, USA, a year before getting signed by A&M Records Of Canada and their self-titled debut album hit the stores in 1991.
While still unsigned, in 1990 Steve & Rick released the album by themselves under THE WORRAL BROTHERS PROJECT banner, in a professionally manufactured cassette (the only format) and in limited quantities, mostly for shopping labels.
“THE WORRAL BROTHERS PROJECT” is different from the finally released album. While this is the same recording, the Mix is different from the ‘major studio big mix’ done later. The overall sound is much more FM radio oriented, definitely more ’80s AOR with emphasis on the keyboards. Also all songs are shorter, and the track listing different.
