REGATTA – No Looking Back [recorded 90-91 / Previously Unreleased] (2025) *HQ*

Celebrated by classic Canadian AOR aficionados, the 1989’s self-titled debut album from REGATTA has been reissued after decades out of print, fully remastered by bass player Matthew Gerrard from original masters and released via The Art Of Loud Recordings.
But alongside that lost classic Gerrard also compiled, cleaned and remastered the many songs REGATTA wrote for their second album. Unfortunately the group was dropped by RCA when they were at the pre-production stage.
Here we have these until now Previously Unreleased songs carefully curated by Gerrard and put together under the title “No Looking Back“. The sound quality is very good, and musically REGATTA continues with their smooth blend of Canadian-style ’80s AOR, Melodic Rock and pop-rock, although a few cuts present a little ‘edgier’ approach.
Finally these strong shelved songs see the light of day for all fans of the genre rejoice.
