PERFECT PLAN – All Night EP (2025) *HQ*
Swedish melodic rock powerhouse PERFECT PLAN has released the EP “All Night“, with songs marking their triumphant return to their signature AOR sound, an advance of their long awaited next album. The new music is produced in collaboration with Mårten Eriksson.
Frontman Kent Hilli had this to say about the song ‘All Night’: “This is about the guy on the cover art, a fictional story I made up with some personal experiences in the mix. He is a dreamer and a musician; he fails in life with everything he does, loses his job and then his love and girlfriend, gets dumped and gets depressed, fights his way back from being broke and then becomes a successful singer in a rock band”. The track is full of 80s-style keyboard runs and smooth vocals (watch video below).
The anthemic track ‘Heart Of A Lion’ draws inspiration from Swedish football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, celebrating his remarkable journey and indomitable spirit. The EP is completed with the classic sounding midtempo melodic rocker ‘We Are Heroes’, with an ‘action movie’ blood all over it.
With their previous album PERFECT PLAN wanted to discover a new heavier and ‘in your face’ sound but on this EP and upcoming new album they are back to the style of the first 2 albums, with more keyboards and bigger sound taking you back to the 80s with a modern touch and feel.
