As requested, here’s in exclusive “The Studio Sessions 1978–1984“, a seven-disc, limited edition box set by Australian rock institution COLD CHISEL, a much sough after collection only released in Australia.
The box set contains all COLD CHISEL five original studio albums, all remastered, restored and repackaged with bonus tracks. Also includes the 2xCD live album set entitled ‘Swingshift’, originally released 1981 but here in its expanded version.
This is the ultimate COLD CHISEL CD collection for any die hard fan of this awesome rock n’ roll band fronted by the unique Jimmy Barnes.
All the great classic era albums Cold Chisel (1978), Breakfast at Sweethearts (1979), East (1980), Circus Animals (1982), Twentieth Century (1984), plus Swingshift (recorded 1980 in Japan, released 1981, and expanded 1986) have been remastered with a balanced tech to sound fantastic, and each CD sleeve replicates the original Australian LP sleeve. Also each CD contains collectible bonus tracks, 14 in total.
There’s a digital compilation titled ‘The Complete Cold Chisel’ but sound quality doesn’t even come close to that of this remastered CD box set, and it doesn’t feature all the bonus tracks.

Legendary Cold Chisel frontman JIMMY BARNES is ready to release his new solo album “Flesh And Blood“, and it’s a fitting title as this is a collection of rockers performed by humans, with real musical instruments, and passion.
