HERMAN RAREBELL – Nip In The Bud [40th Anniversary Remaster] (2021) *0dayrox Exclusive*

Former Scorpions drummer HERMAN RAREBELL has released his 1981 album ”Nip In The Bud”, completely remastered and available digitally for the first time. Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of its initial release, it is rather amazing at just how clear, clean and fresh ”Nip In The Bud” sounds today and those involved in the remastering have done a brilliant job as this really does feel like a record that has only just been recorded and released, and musically, feels relevant today.
If you haven’t heard the album before then I am sure that you will not be surprised by the fact that it is most definitely Scorpions influenced and, in truth, how could it not be? In between the concerts, Rarebell and his new training have locked in the studio. They’re releasing “Scorpion’s Songs Symphonic“, an album of 15 Scorpions (17 in the digital version), re-arranged with symphony sauce. So the rock base of the tracks is added to the “Hurricane Orchestra” interventions, founded specifically for this project.
These are studio recordings with a hard rock sound – with lead vocals by powerhouse Andrew Gräser and Herman & his band – with added orchestra instrumentation. Production is very good, with all the guitars, bass, drums and vocals really well mixed with strings, oboe, flute, etc…
