PATRIK AHLM CONCORD – California Heatwave (2021)

Despite decades in the music business it took until 2021 for Swede PATRIK AHLM to get ready to release music under his own name. An experienced musician, producer, and songwriter who has been part of reputed AOR bands like Time Gallery, Colorstone, Art Of Illusion, and recently Backman Johanson (just to name few), Ahlm has a way down intense passion for music and is an irreparable serial songwriter.
For his new solo venture he has named the project PATRIK AHLM CONCORD and is presenting a bunch of songs with a lovely ’80s vibe. Just take as example ‘California Heatwave‘, a song which title speaks for itself and definitely will take you back to 1983-84 (watch the video below)…

THE MISTIES (ex Time Gallery) – Driftwood [Japan Edition +3] (2019)

“Driftwood” is the debut album by THE MISTIES, the new project of Swede Johan Stentorp, ex member of AORsters Time Gallery and a well known songwriter having contrituted songs for Joe Lynn Turner’s Sunstorm, Hardline, and Scandinavian power pop wonders The Trampolines.
Stentorp has produced the album, perform all vocals and almost all instruments, as former Time Gallery bandmate Frederik Bergengren play some guitar here.
“Driftwood” only was released on physical CD in Japan, including 3 bonus tracks.

TIME GALLERY ‎(Sweden) – Kaleidoscope [2019 reissue]

Last year was reissued one of the best CD’s from the Swedish early Nineties Lite AOR factory: “Kaleidoscope“, second and last album from TIME GALLERY originally released in 1992.
For many years out of print, this is your chance to discover this album / band class.
If one word define these guys style, it should be ‘finesse’. Patrik De Vee vocals are crystal clear, in perfect pitch and with the right modulation for this type of music, while Frederik Bergengren is second to none with his sweet guitar solos and stupendous rhythm akin the great Michael Landau.
