WHITE WIDDOW returned with album number four titled “Silhouette“ carrying on where their last album left off: lots of catchy and hook-filled AOR tunes. In fact, this band follows their path without any compromise to trends, and this path is surely paved by pure ’80s keyboard-driven AOR in the vein of White Sister, Giuffria, Journey and Survivor, to name few.
“Silhouette” was released via AOR Heaven Records, now sold out. As extra, we added the great bonus track for the Japanese CD edition, a wonderful cover version of W.A.S.P. classic ‘Wild Child”.
With a very talented singer as Jules Millis, bro Xavier Millis delivering an arsenal of keys / synths and of course, with an amazing guitarist such as Enzo Almanzi, the one thing that you expect from White Widdow is pure AOR / melodic rock stuff that grabs you at once.
And “Silhouette“ does that in spades…

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, WHITE WIDDOW was formed in 2008 by charismatic frontman Jules Millis along with bassist Trent Wilson and guitar virtuoso Enzo Almanzi. This, their debut “White Widdow” made high impact in the Melodic Hard Rock community via infectious choruses and melodious riffs.
The band previously released the now rare “White Widdow 3-track EP“, a very limited edition with early versions of some of their best tunes. Both, the AOR Heaven release of “White Widdow” and the EP are out of print now.
Since its inception, the White Widdow vision was always to write, perform and bring back the ’80s joyful Arena style Melodic Rock / Hard Edged AOR inspired by artists such as White Sister, Survivor, Treat, Dokken, Aviator, Bon Jovi and Australia’s own Roxus.
Mixed and Mastered by Martin Kronlund (Overland, Joe Lynn Turner, Bangalore Choir) at JM Studios in Sweden, in their full length debut White Widdow have put together an album full of Melodic Rock and AOR anthems filled with swirling keyboards, blistering guitar playing and big choruses full of hooks, the way they believe Rock music should be done…
