FOREIGNER – Agent Provocateur [Digitally Remastered From The Original Master Tapes] out of print (HQ)

We’ve been asked for the best sounding release of FOREIGNER‘s classic ”Agent Provocateur”, one of the most reissued albums in Rock history. Well, it’s hard to decide, at first glance the original vinyl LP press should beat any.
But we are in a digital era, and this ”Agent Provocateur” release remastered CD from the Original Master Tapes is a really good one, handled by expert Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound Studios. Combining the best of both worlds – the sound quality is between the warm harmonics of a LP and the clarity of a digital treatment – the output is not brickwalled, well balanced.
Musically, there’s not much to add; FOREIGNER’s ”Agent Provocateur” packs that ’80s magic and some of the band’s evergreen classic songs…

LOU GRAMM – Questions & Answers ; Atlantic Anthology 1987-1989 [HNE 3-CD release] (2021)

Hear No Evil / Cherry Red Records are releasing a LOU GRAMM 3-CD career spanning titled “Questions & Answers ; Atlantic Anthology 1987-1989“, including remastered versions of his two solo albums for Atlantic, plus a third collectible disc which gathers together some of his Atlantic-era rarities, including two versions of ‘Lost In The Shadows (The Lost Boys)’ from the aforementioned soundtrack.
‘Ready Or Not’ bonuses is represented by a “Rock Remix”, an “Extended Dance Remix” and an “Instrumental Remix” (all must have for ’80s fans). Hit single ‘Midnight Blue’ was issued in various formats, including a very collectible transparent blue 12 inch single, which featured an “Extended Remix” of the track.
A single edit of ‘True Blue Love’ has been selected from “Long Hard Look”. To promote Lou’s 1987 debut, Atlantic Records released the very rare and highly collectible LP, “Questions And Answers”, a promotional album distributed to radio stations featuring Lou interviewed by Dan Neer as he discusses the genesis of the “Ready Or Not” record, and his career to date, in 1987.

Originally released in 2009, ”Can’t Slow Down” was FOREIGNER first studio album in 15 years. It marked the Melodic Rock comeback of the year; praised by fans and critics alike.
Now 2020 earMusic / Edel is releasing this “Can’t Slow Down [Deluxe Edition 2xCD B-Sides and Extra Tracks]“.
CD1 includes the complete studio album, produced by Mick Jones and Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe).
