FOREIGNER - An Acoustic Evening With Foreigner [CD Release] (2021) full

Recorded in an amazingly distinctive location – the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen, Germany – ‘An Acoustic Evening With Foreigner‘ is an intimate and authentic live album from international Melodic Rock superstars FOREIGNER.
Originally taped in 2013 for German radio station SWR1 and now available on CD for the first time this wonderful show features all of the group’s greatest classics, such as ‘Waiting for a Girl Like You’, ‘Say You Will’, ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’ and ‘Juke Box Hero’.
Produced by noted Foreigner bass guitarist, Jeff Pilson, this is a must-have for all the die-hard FOREIGNER fans.

On ‘An Acoustic Evening With Foreigner’ the band got right down to performing ‘the big ones’ right out of the box, as “Double Vision” opens the set, followed by “Long, Long Way From Home” and one of their most well-known (and best) songs, “Say You Will.”
There’s a great stripped version of monster AOR ballad “Waiting for a Girl Like You”, then the band reaches deep into their catalog with “Fool For You Anyway” before ending the night with the super hits “Juke Box Hero,” “I Want to Know What Live Is”, and “Hot Blooded”.

Special mention goes for Kelly Hansen as his vocal delivery is spot on as the singing round is really in one’s face with no outboard studio effects getting in the way.

aaw come on Foreigner….. not ANOTHER greatest hits package!!!!!!
Yes we love these songs..and we love the band line up…its perhaps the best line up….but just one album with original material from you…… and it was great….. “Dont Slow Down” was equal to anything done earlier…so how about some more orig material????
