Chip Z’Nuff says that ‘when the going gets tough the tough get going’. It’s an old adage that could be applied to numerous rock bands who refuse to die, but for ENUFF Z’NUFF it’s become, more or less, a battle code. In fact it’s a maxim that they’ve lived by since day one of their inception. After several years in the dark, Donnie Vie rejoined the band in 2007, and the essential E Z’N songwriting team, Chip and Donnie, were back together.
Their comeback album “Dissonance” was originally released by themselves listing nine tracks, then only available in Japan with 2 extras, and finally re-released by Rock Candy Records with additional bonus, previously unreleased tracks from the same sessions – listing a total of 13 tracks. This Rock Candy release is currently out of print.
Oh, and the lead guitarist on the entire album is the great Jake E. Lee!
“Dissonance” is the exact opposite of what this album brings. Enuff Z’Nuff is back with an album that is real aural bliss. The music is still undeniably Enuff Z’Nuff’s special brand of Melodic Rock with Donnie’s voice, the unforgettable melodies and the Beatles influence in place…

CHIP Z’NUFF – Perfectly Imperfect (2022)

“Perfectly Imperfect” is the new album from CHIP Z’NUFF to be released by Frontiers Music. Chip is, of course, well known for being one of the co-founders of popular Chicago hard rock band Enuff Z’Nuff. The songs for “Perfectly Imperfect” were written by Chip, except for ‘Heaven In A Bottle’, which is an older track written with former Enuff Z’Nuff vocalist Donnie Vie and ”Honaloochie Boogie’, which is a Mott The Hoople cover.
The album includes guest appearances from Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Steven Adler (Adler’s Appetite, ex-Guns ‘N Roses), Daxx Neilsen (Cheap Trick) and Daniel Hill (Enuff Z’Nuff).

ENUFF Z’NUFF – Enuff Z’Nuff [Rock Candy Remastered +2]

Rock Candy Records has ‘Remastered & Reloaded‘ the two first major label releases of ENUFF Z’NUFF, both really enjoyable pieces of melodic hard rock music. Their 1989 self-titled “Enuff Z’Nuff” was marketed as a hair-metal album, but actually shares more common ground with power-pop / melodic rock luminaries Cheap Trick and Sweet than with the lipstick-and-leather crowd.
Formed near the sprawling metropolis of Chicago during the mid 80s, this four man outfit featured two central characters in songwriters Donnie Vie and Chip Z’Nuff. Brothers in all but name, they were feted as the Lennon and McCartney of the hard rock scene.
Great remaster by Rock Candy on an album which deserves much more respect, it’s a really, really melodic and catchy effort. Additionally, there’s 2 bonus tracks recorded…

ENUFF Z’NUFF – Enuff Z’Nuff’s Hardrock Nite (2021)

ENUFF Z’NUFF‘s fondness for the legendary The Beatles has been more than well documented over the years. The band, now led by co-founder Chip Z’Nuff, have finally decided to go all in on that fandom and have announced the release of “Enuff Z’Nuff’s Hardrock Nite,” a covers album of some of their favorite Beatles songs as well as songs from Beatles’ members solo careers.
To be released by Frontiers Music next Friday, here Enuff Z’Nuff offers their reinterpretation of tracks from the Liverpool foursome’s repertoire with no samples, no synthesizers, no wizards behind the curtain, just four cats in the studio paying respect to their heroes.
Long-time fans of the band have yearned, begged, and wished for a Beatles covers album from the band and now, finally, Enuff Z’ Nuff pay tribute to their main inspiration and musical heroes with “Enuff Z’Nuff’s Hardrock Nite” in their own inimitable and rocking fashion.
“Enuff Z’Nuff’s Hardrock Nite” is a colorful Cadillac Escalade driving 100 mph on the freeway without rules or regulation and just livin’ the dream. And it’s a lot of fun.

From the vault of bassist Chip Z’nuff and vocalist Donnie Vie comes this long buried treasure of early ’80s demos that chronicle the very birth of melodic glam rockers ENUFF Z’NUFF.
This box set entitled “Never Enuff: Rarities & Demos” features high-quality studio recordings consisting entirely of unreleased, original material written by Chip and Vie as they honed their songcraft in the years leading up to their 1989 Atlantic Records self-titled debut album, which featured the massive hit singles “New Thing” and “Fly High Michelle.”
All of the band’s elements were present in these early days – the power-pop melodies, the dynamic harmonies, and the feel-good, hippy-vibe energy up to 11 – all of which have served to make Enuff Z’nuff one of the longest lasting acts to emerge from the US glam metal explosion…

ENUFF Z’ NUFF – Peach Fuzz (2021 reissue / Japanese edition)

CleoRecs and ENUFF Z’ NUFF are reissuing the band’s album “Peach Fuzz” in digital format and for the frist time ever on vinyl featuring brand new artwork and the original Japanese bonus track. It’s a welcomed reissue to help this underappreciated good album find a whole new audience.
“Peach Fuzz” was released in 1996 when ENUFF Z’ NUFF was on hiatus, and most the tracks were recorded during the making of their 1993 album ‘Animals With Human Intelligence’, for many, their finest moments.
Additionlly, there’s a couple of B-sides from singles of the very good album ‘Strength’ singles, plus the song ENUFF Z’ NUFF recorded for the 1992 movie Home Alone.
”Peach Fuzz” was initially released in Japan with a slightly different track order and a bonus track, and this reissue replicates the Japanese edition.

Taken from the upcoming compilation album “Dance Of The Black Tattoo” out January 08th, 2021, MAGNUM has just released a new version of their “On Christmas Day” song, a great tune commemorating the famous “Christmas Truce” of World War 1. This re-recorded version is a superior Magnum song. It’s a different type of Christmas track, yes, but it’s a very Magnum one.
GATHERING OF KINGS just released a limited 7” white vinyl of “December (Christmas)”, a new version, much more melodic and season-sounding of the song which was included on their album Discovery.
Terrific project AT THE MOVIES also released a standalone single for the Holidays; “Last Christmas”, a melodic little ditty with a true X-mas spirit…
