LEE AARON – Elevate (2022) *HQ*

Eighties Rock Goddess LEE AARON has been on a roll since her comeback in 2016, with consistent releases since, and this year is no exception. Known for her powerful blues-inspired rock vocals and blazing attitude, Aaron’s upcoming album ”Elevate” was recorded live into the studio with her band in Vancouver, and is likely to be another unique sounding record to add to her extensive discography.
Although she’s been releasing music since the 80s, Aaron’s subject matter stays relevant, and these songs inspired by the issues caused by social media and political difference prove that. In an attempt to inspire love and human connection in these difficult times, ”Elevate” is sending a clear message via hard rockin’ tunes.
”Elevate” opens with Rock Bottom Revolution, a song that immediately feels true to Aaron’s style. With an intense bassline to draw you in, the glam rock inspiration drives the track. Aaron’s strong voice demands attention…

LEE AARON – Almost Christmas [reissue +2] (2021)

Originally only available last year via her website (and featured in exclusive at 0dayrox) LEE AARON‘s “Almost Christmas” is being reissued by Metalville with the addition of two previously unreleased recordings.
Almost Christmas contains lovingly curated tunes – from the foot-stomping rock ‘n’ roll ride of the feature track “It Doesn’t Often Snow At Christmas” (Pet Shop Boys) to the classic “Baby Please Come Home” to a sassy version of “Zat You Santa Claus?” – winding down with the introspective “All I Ever Get For Christmas Is Blue” (Over The Rhine) and an a capella rendition of Joni Mitchell’s timeless “The Fiddle And The Drum”. You’ve never heard Christmas done quite like this.
Lee and her band (Sean Kelly-guitar, Dave Reimer-bass, and John Cody-drums) had tossed around the notion of a Christmas album over the years, but there was always something – tours / recording / life etc. – that kept the project on the back burner.
With all shows cancelled and studios shutting dow due Covid-19, there was suddenly time available. Containing 12 lovingly biting curated X-mas tunes, “Almost Christmas” rocks great.

LEE AARON – Metal Queen ’84 [remastered reissue] *HQ*

As requested, here’s the remastered reissue of LEE AARON‘s iconic album “Metal Queen“. Born Karen Lynn Greening, the singer / songwriter took her name from one of her early bands. After a solo first album, LEE AARON’s proper debut as solo artist happened with this 1984 LP which lead into a multi-album contract with Attic Records and resulted in Aaron forming an 11 year-song writing partnership with her guitarist, John Albani.
The self proclaimed “Metal Queen” was one of the first women in Canada to navigate the male-dominated waters of rock ‘n’ roll, pioneering the way for a significant number of artists.
“Metal Queen” is an ’80s cult classic, with a sound & style ranging from commercial metal to hard rock. Probably the first thing…

LEE AARON – Radio On! (2021)

LEE AARON, the multi-platinum Canadian rock lady, is back with her new album ”Radio On!”. On 12 brand new songs, the exceptional singer shows herself from her strongest side and fulfils all expectations that one can have of a great rock album.
Just like the numerous FM stations that once ruled the airwaves, Radio On! Is an album packed with classic, melodic rock hooks, nasty guitar riffs, big harmonies and inspired songwriting. Lee Aaron combines these qualities through catchy, soaring melodies carried by her unique, versatile voice.
“Radio On!” is an album of non-stop versatile melodic rock at it’s best!

LEE AARON – The Best Of Lee Aaron [remastered]

Canada’s self-proclaimed ’80s ‘Metal Queen’ LEE AARON will release her new solo album this week, and one of you asked for the lady’s classic songs. She was one of the first women to have a successful solo career in metal / hard rock music, a sound that later morphed in favor to a more commercial melodic rock & AOR style with a glossy production.
You find here a pretty complete set of Aaron’s best cuts, from the iconic ‘Metal Queen’ and the raw emotion of power ballad ‘Barely Holdin’ On’ to the keyboard filled AOR of ‘Powerline’.
This is a rare German reissue of “The Best Of Lee Aaron” featuring a ‘Nineties-type’ of remastering including her best songs covering Aaron’s ’80s period…

LEE AARON – Almost Christmas (2020) *EXCLUSIVE*

Presented in exclusive at 0dayrox, “Almost Christmas” is the very first Christmas album from ’80s Metal Queen LEE AARON, only available through her website on physical format.
Lee and her band (Sean Kelly-guitar, Dave Reimer-bass, and John Cody-drums) had tossed around the notion of a Christmas album over the years, but there was always something – tours/recording/life etc. – that kept the project on the back burner.
And that’s where it stayed… until 2020 brought a whole new reality. With all shows cancelled and studios shutting down, there was suddenly time available. Over the summer, they began creating a series of Rockin’ From Home videos, which whetted the appetite for more, so when the Christmas idea came up again in mid-September, it was a definite go.
Containing ten lovingly biting curated X-mas tunes, “Almost Christmas” rocks great.
